What is pyschotherapy?

Dr. Cathie Simpson believes that our brains change when we spend time with a compassionate person who listens (that would be her). She specializes in helping people get over grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, identity issues, matters of death, transition, and plain old being stuck.

She uses various methods of treatment, including object relations, cognitive and behavioral talk therapy, dreamwork, and Jungian-based therapy.

Her treatment involves the total person: your mind, emotions, and body. We talk together. Sometimes there is homework.

Cathie works with adults, both young and old, and those in the middle. Her schedule is somewhat flexible, but it has been totally full for weeks. Sometimes there is a waiting list that is months long.

She believes that change happens only within a relationship. When her schedule opens up, she looks forward to meeting you to discover if you and she might be compatible.
