Our services
Psychotherapy
Dr. Cathie Simpson believes our brains change when we spend time with a compassionate person who listens. Let her listen as she helps you overcome grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, identity issues, matters of death, transition, and plain old being stuck.
Pet Loss Group
The Pet Loss Group is a self-help, professionally facilitated, online gathering. It provides understanding, support, and education about coping with the loss of a companion animal through the compassionate discussion of common feelings.
Dogs In Therapy
Many articles have been written about animals in therapy, which is why you will often see my dog in the room.
It has been scientifically shown that spending time with dogs and other animals lessens fear and anxiety significantly more than music or art.
About Therapy
What is therapy and how does it work? Dr. Simpson has gleaned ideas about these questions over the years from the pages of books, magazines, journals, newspapers and her own experience. Learn what therapy could mean for you.
“Therapy is a relationship between two people united in common cause: to figure out what is going on.”
— M. GUY THOMPSON
